Games will be streamed live starting at 8 a.m. Eastern on Saturday, and live coverage will continue throughout the tournament with all three divisional finals broadcast on Monday. The is available from 91����’s media partner Ultiworld.

As the final event of the regular season, and with National Championship bid allocations on the line, the Pro Championships are sure to offer an exciting weekend of competition for players and fans alike. Read on below for key stories to follow in each division.

Men’s Division

Looking at bid allocation for the men’s division, there are a few teams that are currently sitting just short of being in the position to claim a strength bid for their regions. These teams are all close enough in ranking points that Pro Championships results could cause a re-allocation. The two teams currently holding onto the final two strength bids — Montréal Mephisto in the Northeast and Austin Doublewide in South Central — are both competing and could easily play themselves safe or out of position this weekend.

Having missed earning a strength bid last year, followed by losing the game-to-go at Southwest regionals on universe point, Doublewide will be heading to the Pro Championships motivated to hold onto their current place in the rankings in hopes of preserving a path to the National Championships for themselves this year. 

Mephisto comes with similar motivations, having also come just short of making it to Nationals a few times in recent years. However, while Doublewide dropping farther down the rankings would almost certainly cost the South Central region a bid, the Northeast may hold the extra strength bid even if Mephisto falls. Portland Red Tide, another Northeast region team, currently sits just outside a strength bid in the rankings and could move up based on secondary effects of this weekend’s results.

Mixed Division

One big story in the mixed division continues to be Ann Arbor Hybrid. Currently sitting second in the rankings, and in a region that looks likely to retain two bids, they are well positioned to make it to the Championships this postseason. However, having won the U.S. Open (and claimed a World Championship title) Hybrid still needs a Pro Championships win in order to keep the dream of back-to-back Triple Crown wins alive. Third ranked Boston Slow has had a great 2026 season, and may present a challenge to Hybrid’s Triple Crown attempt. The two teams last faced off at the U.S. Open in a game that Hybrid won, but only after Slow took the game to universe point.

Similar to the men’s division, the last few strength bids are among teams with very tight ratings. Only three points separate Boston Sprocket, ranked 15th and currently taking the last strength bid for the Northeast, from the Northwest’s Salt Lake City Sego. Ranked 20th, Minneapolis Drag ‘n Thrust is the only team out of any division claiming an auto bid but falling outside of the top 16. However, with at least two games guaranteed against top ranked opponents this weekend, if they do well they are in a position to significantly improve their ranking. 

Regardless of any one team’s performance, watch for mixed division bid allocations to shift following the Pro Championships

Women’s Division

Like Hybrid, Washington Scandal is coming off back-to-back wins in the U.S. Open and WUCC. They are also the only top team in any division to have an undefeated regular season record. Regardless of the outcomes this weekend, they are likely to retain a good position in the rankings. But, a win at the Pro Championships will put them in position to advance to the National Championships with a chance at not only their first Triple Crown win, but the first ever in the women’s division.

Other teams playing this weekend whose postseason positions should be secure are Denver Molly Brown, New York BENT and Raleigh Phoenix. Molly Brown and BENT have enough margin in ranking points to be relatively secure, and even if Phoenix were to drop out of the top 16, they would still retain the auto bid for the Southeast region.

Pittsburgh Parcha currently sits just short of claiming a strength bid for the Mid-Atlantic, ranked 17th. A good weekend at the Pro Championships could easily bump them up, knocking Vancouver Traffic and the Northwest region out of position for the final strength bid of the 2026 season. Washington Agency and Washington Grit are also competing this weekend. Both are likely sitting outside range for a strength bid, and will be looking for Parcha to claim that extra bid. If they do, the Mid-Atlantic regionals will once again have three bids to the National Championships.

The South Central also currently has a strength bid heading into the postseason, thanks to Dallas Dimes 14th place ranking. While the Dimes are not competing at the Pro Championships, and their position is likely secure, there remains a possibility that a strong performance from Parcha — and a big shift in the final regular season rankings — could cause Dimes to lose that bid.

Current Championship Bid Allocations

Final Championship bid allocations and regular season rankings will be published by September 9, 2026.

In the mixed division, U.S. teams pulled off a sweep, with Ann Arbor Hybrid claiming the gold in a decisive 15-9 win over silver medalists New York XIST, while Fort Collins shame. triumphed over Austria’s Mosquitos Klosterneuburg to take home bronze. The open division also saw two American teams facing off in the final, with gold medal team San Francisco Revolver playing a tightly contested game against second place finisher New York PoNY. In the women’s division, Washington Scandal won the final 15-13 over Netherlands’ GRUT while San Francisco Fury took the win in the bronze medal game 15-10 over Tokyo Mavericks.

Only two U.S. teams did not medal. Chicago Machine finished fifth in the men’s division and Boston Brute Squad sixth in the women’s.  Both teams were initially seeded second in their respective divisions but fell to other U.S. teams in the quarterfinals round.

The WFDF World Ultimate Club Championships are hosted every four years, with the next edition scheduled to be held in 2030. U.S. teams qualify for the event based on their finish at the 91���� National Championships the year prior. This year’s National Championships will return to San Diego October 22-25, where Hybrid, Revolver and Scandal will have a chance to face off against elite competition from across North America in an attempt to claim a second championship gold in 2026. Hybrid may also have the additional possibility of winning back-to-back Triple Crowns. Their hopes of becoming the first team to do so remain dependent on winning the upcoming next weekend. At the last WUCC event — held in 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio — U.S. teams medalled in every division. Seattle Mixtape claimed gold in the mixed division, open division teams New York PoNY and Raleigh Ring of Fire took gold and silver respectively, and in the women’s division San Francisco Fury took silver and Raleigh Phoenix claimed bronze. This year’s teams also look positioned to place well, with all nine qualifiers seeded among the top ten in their respective divisions.

In the mixed division, defending national champion — and recent winner of the U.S. Open — Ann Arbor Hybrid is the top seed, with New York XIST seeded sixth and Fort Collins shame. seventh, out of the 48 teams in the division.

U.S. teams San Fancisco Revolver (1) and Chicago Machine (2) sit in the top two spots in the open division, with New York PoNY seeded seventh in another 48 team division. Like Hybrid, Revolver is the 2025 National Championship winner and coming off an exciting U.S. Open win.

The women’s division national championship team Boston Brute Squad is seeded second, behind the Columbian team Medellín Macana, which features a roster with names familiar to anyone who follows the 91���� club scene. San Francisco Fury is seeded just below Brute Squad at third, with U.S. Open winner Washington Scandal also near the top of the 40 team division at seventh.

In the U-20 boys divisions, Oakland SmOAK defeated Boston BUDU 15-11 to claim the Division I title for the second year running, while Illinois Illusion claimed their first ever YCC win in Division II over Michigan Stubble. The U-20 girls division also had a back-to-back winner, with 2025 champions Seattle Seven Hills taking down Minneapolis Superior to claim their 15th YCC championship title. A historically strong program, Seattle Seven Hills also took first in the U-20 mixed division where they claimed the mixed team’s fourth title, winning out over Lexington KOI.

The U-17 divisions brought some exciting upsets, with tenth seed Oregon Eclipse winning out over top seed Oakland OAK Sparks in Division I. Newcomer SoCal Air Show, established in 2025, won it all in the Division II final, defeating San Francisco Aftershock with a dominant 15-5 final score. The U-17 girls division went closer to seed but still brought a surprising final with the Seattle Orcas only giving up one point to top seed Minnesota Superior in a final that finished 15-1.

The men’s division final started the day off with intensity. The game was a tight matchup. With changing leads, and Seattle Sockeye taking the game to 14-12, Revolver pulled off an exciting come-from-behind victory to claim their fifth U.S. Open win.

In the mixed division Hybrid took the lead 2-0 and never looked back, winning over challenger New York XIST in dominant fashion. The U.S. Open win, their third in three years, keeps them in the running to be the first team to win back-to-back Triple Crowns.

Washington Scandal claimed a 15-10 victory over San Francisco Fury, only giving up one break over the entire game. The finals win over Fury completes their perfect 6-0 record for the tournament, with key wins over all the other top seeds including Boston Brute Squad and Molly Brown.

Youth Club Championships

Play continues for the final day of YCC which brings the conclusion of bracket play and championship matchups across all seven age divisions. throughout the final day of competition with all U-20 finals available to watch live. Schedules, stat leaders, and full event information can be found on the YCC event website.

In the men’s division, defending champions San Francisco Revolver will face off against Seattle Sockeye in an attempt to claim their fifth U.S. Open title. Back-to-back wins would be no new feat for Revolver, having won three consecutive years from 2013-15. Sockeye is back in the final for the first time since 2021, when they won their third U.S. Open title, having won previously in both 2017 and 2019.

The mixed division features Ann Arbor Hybrid, who are looking to claim their third title in three years, having already pulled off back-to-back wins in 2024-25. Should they triumph over New York XIST, their hopes of being the first team to win the Triple Crown Tour two years in a row stays alive. XIST is unlikely to make this easy for them. They are undefeated heading into their first ever U.S. Open finals appearance and in a position to claim their first title.

Also going for a threepeat is San Francisco Fury in the women’s division. Having previously won the U.S. Open in 2013, 2015 and 2024-25 they are chasing their fifth title as they face off against Washington Scandal in the final. Scandal will be hoping for a repeat of 2023 when they triumphed over Fury 15-13 to claim their first and only U.S. Open win.

Youth Club Championships

The Youth Club Championships brought energy and excitement to the fields as they competed alongside the ICC teams on Saturday. All divisions saw upsets as the next generation of competitive ultimate players left it all on the field. Pool winners and stat leaders for all seven divisions — as well as real-time results — can be viewed on the event website.

At the close of the first day of competition, few top seeds remain undefeated. In the men’s division Boston DiG (3) and New York PoNY (4) won their pools, but took losses in the crossover round. Washington Truck Stop (8) went undefeated for the day, winning their pool over top seed Portland Rhino Slam! And Chicago Machine (7) also went 3-0 for the day, including a win over San Francisco Revolver (2).

The mixed division saw many tight games with New York XIST (1) and Ann Arbor Hybrid (5) being the only teams who made it to the end of the day undefeated. Boston Slow (2) won their pool 2-0 but fell to Hybrid in the crossover as both teams prepared to enter quarterfinals Saturday morning.

The women’s division saw many of the early round games won by large margins, with the top four seeds easily winning their pools. Washington Scandal (3) then won over Boston Brute Squad (1) in the crossovers, while San Francisco Fury (2) gave Molly Brown (4) their first loss of the tournament in the final round of the day.

Youth Club Championships

The youth side of the event kicks off Saturday as 103 teams compete across seven divisions. This year will be the largest YCC event to date, with 2,158 athletes converging in Aurora from youth programs across the nation. For the first time, both the U-20 boys and U-17 boys competitions have D-I and D-II divisions.

The Masters event is the largest championship event 91���� hosts, with more than 2,500 athletes competing for eight divisional national titles. Surly (�����’s), regret (mixed) and Ripe (women’s) took home gold in the masters division. In grand masters Kalakala (�����’s), Dial-Up (mixed) and Henceforth (women’s) claimed the gold, and the great grand masters titles were won by Surly GGM (men’s) and Well Done (�ɴdz����’s).

Twenty showcase games were streamed live from the fields in Aurora, including the finals for all divisions, and from 91����’s streaming partner Ultiworld.

Awards

The annual Marty Bakko Spirit Award was presented to Louis Wersan from Crutch City for embodying the best attributes of ultimate including a long-term passion for the sport, a commitment to fair play, integrity and respect for the opponent and a competitive spirit. The 2026 Women’s Masters Spirit Award went to Christine Bookhout of Ripe as a player who best represents the Spirit of the Game both on and off the field.

The Mixed Spirit and Equity Award recognizes players who have exhibited personal integrity, responsibility and fairness and a commitment to enhancing equity in play as well as in their communities. Awarded to two players annually, the 2026 recipients were Pete Mancini of Crown and Lexie Thomas of Creamland.

In addition to winning first place, Surly GGM and Ripe also took home the Team Spirit Award for their respective divisions. LAST, second in the masters mixed division, also won Team Spirit — collectively showcasing the fact that teams can bring a high level of competitive play while also receiving top spirit marks from their opponents.

The mixed team went undefeated across the eight-day tournament, becoming world champions in a 15-11 win over Canada. The open team claimed silver in a tough final against Canada, going down 15-12, their only loss of the tournament. And the women’s team won their last game over Belgium with a final score of 13-10, to finish 5th overall. 

The World Junior Ultimate Championships featured approximately 1,000 athletes competing across three divisions in the under-20 age category. The event was hosted in Logroño, Spain, where the U.S. teams won their way to the gold, silver and a top five finish from among a field of 47 teams who represented over 20 nations. Full are available, and many games — including the open and mixed finals featuring the U.S. National Teams — were streamed live and are from Ultiworld.

The National Youth Ultimate Giving Week is a collaborative campaign uniting local disc organizations across the country around a shared belief: that youth ultimate uniquely supports character development, social-emotional learning and a profound sense of belonging. This week creates a collective opportunity to invite the ultimate community to invest in the future of the sport.

On November 7, 1970, the first interscholastic high school ultimate game was held, marking the start of competitive youth ultimate. The first week of November has been chosen for the first Giving Week, in recognition of this milestone. Throughout this week, all donations made directly to participating 91���� affiliate organizations in support of local youth programming will be matched. While only affiliates will be eligible for the donation matching, all nonprofit organizations focused on growing youth ultimate are encouraged to use this week to inspire and amplify the importance of giving to support youth program growth. 

With nearly 20 91���� affiliate organizations already planning to participate, this campaign will empower local communities across the country to invest in the next generation of ultimate players.
